I can't recommend Hannah enough. I sought out her services to help with tightness, discomfort and cording. After just three treatments the tightness has gone completely from one scar, and much improved in the second, the discomfort is a fraction of what it used to be, and the cording greatly improved. Meet The Team
Hannah – (Clinical Director)
Hannah Poulton is a Womens Health Physiotherapist, UK Leading Scar Specialist, C-Section Expert, Acupuncturist, Educator and author. Hannah is the Clinical Director of HLP Therapy Limited.
Hannah started her Physiotherapy career in 2002, with one goal in mind – to help individuals recover well. Her in-depth holistic treatments, incorporate aspects of a variety of treatment modalities to suit the client.
Using expert clinical reasoning, evidence based practice and the most up-to-date treatments and devices, Hannah is able to treat a wide variety of conditions.
So, if you are suffering with painful scars, had a traumatic birth, recovering from a hysterectomy, had breast cancer surgery, require a comprehensive postnatal assessment, or have a musculoskeletal injury, then book today using the online calendar.
Leanne - (Pregnancy & Postnatal Massage, Sports Massage and Scar Therapy)
Leanne is a highly specialised and experienced Level 5 Womens Health Massage Therapist. Her main interests are in Pregnancy, Postnatal Massage, Sports Massage and C-Section scarring. Over the last nine years, Leanne has developed her skills and enhanced her practice by undertaking several additional courses which include: Fire Cupping, Taping and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation).

Leanne trained in Scar Therapy in 2022 and since then has specialised in C-Section Scarring. This new skill, enhances her current treatments and holistic approach to the postnatal population.
Leanne's clients include: professional athletes, pregnant women, c-section mums and individuals who are in pain or discomfort, from a soft tissue injury.
Many clients have reported feeling a reduction in pain and increased
flexibility after their first treatment session.
Leanne is passionate about the treatments she provides and seeing individuals recover well. Leanne tailors her treatments to the individual, using a variety of professional treatment modalities to suit the client. Her targeted approach for sports therapy clients is dramatically different, to the gentle and relaxing treatments provided for pregnant mums and scar therapy.

Charlotte - (Womens Health Physiotherapist, Pelvic Health Specialist)
Charlotte Owen qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2006 from Coventry University. Since graduating Charlotte has worked in a variety of settings within the NHS and Private Practice.
Charlotte specialises in the areas of Women’s Health, Pelvic Health, Pelvic Floor dysfunction, c-section scar treatment and Respiratory. She took an interest in Women’s Health after the birth of her daughter after seeing first hand the problems women can present with.
Charlotte has taken several post-graduate courses to further her knowledge and skills within this area. These have included POGP specialist courses, courses on bladder pain syndrome, pelvic floor dysfunction, scar management including C-section scars, bowel health, The Menopause Movement certification (looking at menopause symptoms and how to treat these), Mummy MOT and Pilates.
Charlotte enjoys treating women with an holistic approach, focusing on them and their concerns and formulating an individualised treatment programme.
Grace - Administration
Grace is highly experienced in administration with a background in HR and Learning and Development.
Grace understands (from a personal perspective), the need for excellence in postnatal care and the difference that scartherapy can make.
