Expert maternity care from a Qualified Midwife

Pregnancy and early postnatal life can feel like a whirlwind. Your body is changing, your emotions are unpredictable, and you may find yourself navigating nausea and noticing aches, twinges and discomfort in places you didn’t even know existed.

This is where specialist pregnancy therapies offer something different.

At HLP Therapy, you’re supported by our midwife Chloe, who understands pregnancy on every level. Not only will she listen to you, but she knows how to help your body settle when discomfort, anxiety, or overwhelm begin to take over.

Moxibustion Therapy for Breech Babies

A gentle, non-invasive technique to encourage optimal fetal positioning

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique used to help turn a breech baby from bottom-down to head-down.
It’s warming, soothing, and can be highly effective when used at the right time, which is usually around 34 weeks.

Why choose midwife-led moxibustion?

  • Safe, informed guidance from a practising NHS midwife.

  • Clear understanding of fetal positioning and when moxibustion is appropriate.

  • A calm, supportive approach rooted in clinical awareness.

  • Step-by-step advice you can safely continue at home.

Chloe guides you through the entire process, ensuring you feel confident, cared for, and supported at every stage.

Reflex Zone Therapy
(Clinical Reflexology) for Pregnancy

A targeted therapy for nausea, hormonal shifts, sleep, and pregnancy-related aches.

Clinical reflexology (also known as reflex zone therapy) is a structured, therapeutic approach designed to support both your nervous system and hormonal balance. This is why it’s particularly beneficial during pregnancy and early postnatal recovery.

Clinical reflexology can support:

  • Nausea and pregnancy sickness

  • Back or pelvic girdle pain

  • Hormonal changes

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Stress and emotional overwhelm

  • Postnatal recovery needs

Because Chloe is both a midwife and a maternity complementary therapist, each session is customised to your specific symptoms and your stage of pregnancy or recovery.
